Question 1

What platforms can I import from?

Accepted Answer

Shopify, Amazon, AliExpress, Etsy, eBay, SHEIN, Temu, Alibaba, Zalando, WooCommerce and Wix — from a single product, a list, a collection or a whole store at once.

Question 2

Is Ecopy really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free plan lets you import 10 products and preview 1 AI product page with the full builder and every template. Paid plans start at $4.99/month (or $3.99/month billed yearly) when you're ready to publish.

Question 3

How is Ecopy different from a normal importer?

Accepted Answer

A plain import gives you a title, a photo and a Buy button. Ecopy builds the full page around it — benefit bullets, comparison table, stats, reviews, FAQ and trust badges — the structure that actually sells.

Question 4

Do I need the Chrome extension?

Accepted Answer

No. You can paste any URL directly in the app. The extension just adds one-click import from any product page you're browsing.

Question 5

Can I edit the page before publishing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every block is editable — reorder, hide or rewrite anything with AI. The live preview is exactly what publishes to your store.

Question 6

Does it work with variants (colors, sizes)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Variants are imported with their prices, and each colour is matched to its own photo automatically — you can also re-map any variant image by hand. On the page, clicking a colour shows its photo.

Question 7

Will it match my theme and brand?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick one of 18 niche templates, then recolour the whole page in one click with a brand palette, choose one of 12 page backgrounds (dark mode included), set your fonts and text sizes, and choose how your product images are laid out. Pages work with any Shopify theme.

Question 8

Can I offer bundles like "Buy 2, save 15%"?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Turn on the Bundle block and set your tiers — the cards appear in the buy box, shoppers pick a colour for each item, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout by a native Shopify Function. No discount codes, no extra app.

Question 9

I sell a single product. Can Ecopy build my home page too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When you publish a product page, tick "Also use this page as my store's home page". Ecopy builds a branded home from the same content — brand hero, benefits, featured product, reviews, guarantee and FAQ — with every button leading to the product page. Your theme's original home page is backed up and can be restored in one click.

Question 10

Do prices show in my customer’s currency?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pages follow Shopify Markets and currency-converter apps, including bundle tiers and the cart drawer. When you import, prices are converted from the source store’s currency to yours before your pricing rules apply.

Question 11

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — no commitment. Your imported products stay live in Shopify even after canceling.

Question 12

Can I go back to my old home page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Before Ecopy publishes a branded home page, it backs up your theme's original home page. Restore it from the page editor in one click — re-publishing later never overwrites that original backup.

Question 13

Which themes does the branded home page work with?

Accepted Answer

It is published into the home template of your current theme, and works with Online Store 2.0 themes such as Dawn and Horizon. If you give the page a background colour, your store header and footer are adjusted so they stay readable on it.
